Grayshott on the Hampshire/Surrey border will open over 20 private gardens for public viewing on Sunday 26th and Bank holiday Monday 27th May 2019 from 12.00pm-6.00pm. Programmes are £6.00 per adult (valid for both days) and children under 12 are free. This bank holiday activity offers a children’s treasure hunt, a working forge, a demonstration beehive, a tour of the village’s historic trees, a ‘Made in Grayshott’ Home Produce stall, bell ringing and delicious homemade teas and home grown plants at bargain prices, so there’s bound to be interest for everyone.
Advance programmes, with a map to help you plan your route, go on sale from Saturday 4th May at three retail outlets in the village; Pins and Needles, Grayshott Wine Company and Warren Powell Richards Estate Agency or on the day from the box office on the village green. Sat nav reference – GU26 6LF. Headley Road, Grayshott. The village offers free parking and cafés and a pub for those requiring an alternative to the refreshments in the gardens.
This will be Grayshott’s 8th Hidden Gardens event raising in excess of £25,000 for community projects. Supported by Grayshott’s businesses including Warren Powell Richards Estate Agency and Grayshott Pottery. Hidden Gardens of Grayshott is happening this year on Sunday 26th and Monday 27th May and sponsored by Warren Powell Richards....the volunteer members of the Committee have tried to visit as many as possible businesses in the village to engage enthusiasm for what is now the biggest village event in Grayshott run by the community for the community!
