Tulip Patch Quilt Raffle Terms and Conditions

  1. By purchasing a raffle ticket you are agreeing to these prize draw terms & conditions.

  2. The purchase of one raffle ticket entitles the player to one chance in the raffle draw. All tickets will be the same price (currently £2).

  3. This raffle is open to residents of the United Kingdom.

  4. Entries to this raffle are limited to 30 (£60) per person. Any further monies received may be treated as a donation and not entered into the draw.

  5. Underage gambling is an offence. UK law states that it is an offence for raffle tickets to be sold to, by or on behalf of a person under 16 years of age.

  6. Monies raised by this raffle will directly contribute to Hidden Gardens of Grayshott’s Community Fund.

  7. Payment for participation in the raffle will be accepted through Pins and Needles, Headley Road, Grayshott, in cash or by bank transfer direct to ‘Hidden Gardens of Grayshott’.

  8. Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw when the whole payment is received.

  9. Hidden Gardens of Grayshott accepts no responsibility for raffle tickets which are lost, damaged, illegible, or from which the prize-winner cannot be identified.

  10. Any ticket payments received after the draw will be considered as donations to the Hidden Gardens of Grayshott Community Fund.

  11. This raffle is regulated by the Gambling Commission and in certain circumstances we may be unable to provide refunds or replacements once you have purchased your entries.

  12. There is one prize, the Tulip Patch Quilt. The prize is non-exchangeable and no cash alternative will be offered.

  13. Winning raffle tickets will be drawn randomly. The first ticket drawn will win the prize. A Runner Up will be selected if the winner cannot be identified after a period of 7 days.

  14. The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

  15. Winners will be notified by post, email, or telephone as soon as possible after the draw date and where possible within 7 days. Please keep the ticket number as proof of purchase.

  16. We will not capture the personal information recorded on your raffle ticket stubs. This information is only used to contact you if you are the holder of the winning ticket.

  17. The winner’s name will be published at www.hiddengardensofgrayshott.co.uk and may be used in our marketing material in relation to this raffle. We would like to promote the winner on marketing material, with agreement, this could include website, social media or local press.

  18. Results of the raffle will be available on request to info@hiddengardensofgrayshott.co.uk

  19. Winners may be requested to provide proof of age and adherence to this will be expected as part of the agreement to these terms and conditions.

  20. Hidden Gardens of Grayshott is registered with the East Hampshire District Council to operate this raffle, Lottery license number is SL0-366. This license is issued under the Gambling Act 2005. Registered license holder is: Vanessa Thompson.

  22. In the event of an error, howsoever caused, whether a printing error or otherwise and whether obvious or otherwise, which affects the raffle in any way, the organisers reserve the right to fairly administer the raffle as though the error had not occurred.

  23. If you or a family member feel that you are experiencing problems with gambling, please refer to the responsible gambling policy on www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk.

  24. Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in the disqualification of the entry. Organisers reserve the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion.
